Unit Spawners

Functionality

The unit spawner feature enables players to send recipe items to spawners from a larger chest inventory. By labelling a chest spawner, that chest will feed any spawners on the territory, allowing players to get through massive amounts of items much faster. You can have several chests labelled spawner if you wish, they will all feed into any spawner that has a recipe activated for the mats contained.

Command Activation

to use the spawner feature, the player must ensure the command is enabled:

  • Command: .logistics unitspawner
  • Shortcut: .l us

How to use the Unit Spawner Feature

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Enable Unit Spawners: Enter the command to activate the feature, or ensure it is enabled:

    .logistics unitspawner

  2. Label the Chest: Mark a chest with the name spawner.

  3. Automatic Feeding: Fuel items in the chest will automatically be sent to any tombs, vermin nests and stygian circles within the territory.

  4. Recipe use: The spawners will pull x2 of the highest activated recipe's materials. For instance, if you use a vermin nest and are spawning rats (8 fibre and 12 bone) and also have Giant rat enabled (1 fish bone and 12 fibre), it will pull 24 bones, 2 fishbones, and 24 fibre.

Important Considerations

  • Naming: A chest must contain the word spawner in order to feed into the spawners.
  • Territory Ownership: As with most of the features, the actual owner of the territory's settings will determine whether unit spawner feeding is possible. Clan mate association is not enough.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Make sure that your labelled chests have inventory within them.
    • It will not pull more materials if the spawns are not being killed off. Once the 'output' # of spawns are queued, it will stop.
