This mod touches on a few aspects of the game. It main purpose is a resource base for upcoming series of mods. Mod works on it own and still provides a lot of nice changes. Not all of items present in mod have full use coverage. Mod may be used by server owners as resource for creating their own gameplay using mods like wackyDB.
IMPORTANT NOTE :
Not all items have a usage right now or are assigned as drops.
Some of items may be spawned only by console.This is made on purpose.
Implementation of all items and full usage will come in future with next mods.
This mod is a resource base for other upcoming mods.

Commands for upgrade world if working on existing world:
*BalrondAmazingNature_upgrade* this will add the vegetation from mod This command will not refresh changes to vanilla locations that were made!

Main features overview:

  • multiple new gatharable resources(wood,ore,flowers,other)
  • Deep North populated with new vegetations and existing locations
  • Existing biomes provided with new vegetation
  • multiple new clutter grass for both land and ocean
  • minting
  • reworked recipes
  • reworked weight and stack on most items
  • 122 new items including new tools like hammers and few food items
  • special boss drop items
  • 4 new plants(6 if you include seeds)
  • 31 new build pieces mostly decoratives

CONTENT

Reworked conversion stations ex Smelter/Fermenter etc. Reworked build pieces:
Forge and Workbench do not require Roof
Portal is now more expensive, you unlock it at Swamp Tier: HardWood 20, SurtlingCore 5, GreydwarfEye 20.
Crypt Key is stackable and consumable upon usage on crypt door, now it also has a chance to drop from Draugrs and Draugr Elite To balance the increased cost all metals can be moved thru portal and Boss sumining items cant be moved thru portal. A dyeKit was added to normalize all Banner build pieces cost. It can be crafted from multiple diffrent resources.
All basic banners have now exact same cost

New Wood type is added - HardWood. You can get it by cutting down Oak
Oaks were changed and require Iron Axe to cut it down.
New early game resource - Straw, Clay
Straw is a tall dry grass you can find in Meadows and Plains
Clay is an additional early game “stone”. It will be used for accessing aditional build pieces in BalrondConstructions
Clay mostly can be found in Meadows and Plains shores but some small chunks may be found in other biomes.
Clay needs to be first burned into Bricks using Kiln that now accepts it
Straw can be made into StrawThread that is an early crafting material

New Plants:

  • Tall Grass(STRAW) that let you farm your own Straw
  • Apple Tree that let you gain apples
  • Cabbage that can be found in moutains
  • Garlic that cane be found in plains
  • Tall Grass require seeds that are a rare drop from monsters in Black Forest and above
  • Apple Tree require Apple seeds that are a rare drop from monsters in Black Forest as well can be bought from Haldor after Elder is slain
  • Apple Tree can be only planted in Meadows
  • Apple Tree doesn't die after bringing fruits but has a long respawn time for another harvest
  • Apples can be crushed down to gain seeds or made into Apple Vinegar
  • Boars now have their own BoarHide and every Animal can drop Leather Scraps
    All vanilla item recipes and build pieces were adjusted to use new resources:
    Ex Basic Roof now uses 1 Straw 1 Wood instead of 2 Wood
    AppleVinegar is now mid-high level igredient for making Potion Mead Base

    There is a lot of drop changes to include new resources and balance drops
    There is nearly 100 new clutter grass including seaweed that spawns across whole world
    There are few new types of trees to enhance variety of what spawn thru world

    All trophies were given basic gold cost so they can be sold to Haldor.

    There are changes in priority targeting for build pieces by AI.
    Ai will prioritize destroying Light Sources, Crafting Tables, Containers, Portals, Doors.
    Player has his Spirit Resistance set to NORMAL .
    Some monsters will do minimal amount of spirit damage ( mostly Undead )
    AI resistance to Spirit damage was changed so their resistance varies but are not immune to it.

    All vegetation objects are setup and will spawn in new maps or unexplored land.
    If you want to make them spawn in your current explored world use mod Upgrade World and use command BalrondAmazingNature_upgrade this will only spawn vegetation. If you want to include rebuild to locations use the full Upgrade World command.

Ores and metal:

More monsters now drop Scrap metal giving new ways of obtaining it.
Silver Scrap was added to the game.
New ore nodes were created for Black Metal ,Gold, Dark Iron , Old Flametal , Cobalt, Ifrytium(Meteoreite known as old Flametal), Iron Ore(not scrap).
New stone node material was created : Bloodshard, Crystal, Jotun Finger , Magma Stone, Ice Shard.
Scrap metal is no longer placable in Smelter and Furnace instead is smelted on Forge and requires 2 scrap per bar with addition of 3 coal.
All new ores are smelted according to their Tier first in smelter then in the furnace.
Smelter now takes up to 45 coal and 15 ore while requiring 3 coal per bar and has changed time to smelter to 40 sec per product Furnace now accepts all ore and is by definition an upgrade to replace smelter usage going to 2 coal per 1 bar and it speed is 20 sec per product.
There are multiple new metal alloys you discover along the way from Black Forest till the end game.
Minting is now a thing. You can find gold ore and smelt it into coins. You can smelt SilverBar into coins (Peningar). Gold Bar and Silver Bar can be sold to Haldor and Hildir, a lil tip they are worth more then minted couterpart. You cannot directly sell Peningar to Haldor. Silver coins can be traded with Haldor and Hildir for Gold coins (using Silver Pouch)

BOSS CHANGES:

  • Eikthyr require 3 x CarvedDeerSkull_bal you can craft on workbench
  • Seeker Queen require 5 x SeekerBrain_bal you can get by killing all types of Seekers with diffrent drop ratio
  • Some bosses got new item drops similar to Yagluth or Queen Drops. They can now be used to craft special Items that will be used in upcoming mods.

Location Generation:

Some location generation was changed both to populate Deep North and refresh the existing biomes.
Exmaple would be:

  • Goblin Camp may now spawn in Black Forest and Meadows as long as distance from center is higher then 2500
  • Draugr Village may spawn in Black Forest, Swamps, Moutains and Plains as long as distance is higher then 1500
  • Abbadoned village may spawn in Black Forest, Swamps, Moutains and Plains as long as distance is higher then 500
  • A lot of towers and ruins may now spawn more often in diffrent places Ex. Some tower ruins with Greydwarfs in Meadows, Draugr swamp towers in Black Forest etc.
  • Surtling spawners no long show up in Swamp isntead they are moved back to Ashlands and got a bit stronger
  • Dungeons generation may be a bit smaller but the dungeons themself generate bigger
    New spawners were added:
  • Deathsquito Hives
  • Drake Spawners
  • Surtling Meteor spawners

Time before sink of Both Flametal Pillars and Leviathans on ocean was increased by 50%
