Balrond Amazing Nature adds several new crafting stations and rebalances the recipe distribution across both new and vanilla stations. Each station now serves a more specialized purpose, improving gameplay flow and crafting depth.
Primary Crafting Stations
Workbench
- Your basic starting station.
- Now excludes most leather armors and many build pieces.
- Grants access to Raw Wood and Raw Stone building sets early in the game.
Construction Bench
- Unlocked after defeating the first boss.
- Most vanilla wooden building pieces now require this bench.
- Also includes many leather-related items from the Meadows tier.
- Has 4 unique extensions.
Fletcher's Table
- Specialized station for all things archery:
- Arrows, bows, crossbows, bolts, etc.
- Available from the start of the game.
- Includes 3 unique extensions.
Forge
- Core metalworking station.
- Anything above Iron has been moved to Ironworks.
Ironworks
- New heavy metalworking station.
- Unlocked after defeating the third boss.
- Handles crafting of metals above Iron up until Blackforge tier.
- Has 4 unique extensions.
Blackforge
- Vanilla station with minor recipe changes.
- Requires Yagluth's drop to build.
Runeforge
- Final crafting station.
- Unlocked after defeating the Ashlands boss.
- Used to craft high-end items using materials from the Deep North.
- Has 4 unique extensions.
Magical Crafting
Shaman Table
- Early-game magic crafting station.
- You need to get Elder's Heart for this
- Used until you unlock the Mage Table (Galdr).
- Has 4 unique extensions.
Mage Table (Galdr)
- Advanced magic crafting station.
- Now includes 2 additional extensions.
- Used for all magical items after transitioning from the Shaman Table.
Building & Cooking Stations
Stonecutter
- Slightly expanded with additional recipes.
Cauldron
- it requires water from Well to be build
- Some food recipes have been moved to:
- Food Prep Table
- Grill
Food Prep Table
- Early-game station.
- Built using a craftable Serving Tray.
- Handles food-related recipes separated from the Cauldron.
- Has 1 unique extension.
Press
- used to create Oil from Oil base
- used to creat diffrent drink
- does nto require fuel
Grill
- New cooking station that requires a campfire.
- Used to prepare food that doesn't fit well in the Cauldron.
Metal Processing
Smelter
- No longer accepts scrap metals, only ores.
- Smelting is now more challenging; the Furnace is its direct upgrade.
Furnace
- Accepts all metal ores.
- Smelts more efficiently using less coal and faster processing.
Utility Stations
Water Well
- Provides fresh drinkable water.
- Process:
- Craft a Wooden Bucket to collect water.
- Divide collected water into Jugs on Workbench.
- Water becomes a "food" item used in various build and crafting recipes.
Tannery
- Alternative source of Leather.
- Require Wooden Nails as fuel
- Process:
- Shred hides and pelts into leather scraps on Workbench.
- Combine scraps + matching hide/pelt to create Patchwork Leather on Construction Bench.
- Place Patchwork in Tannery → Over time, receive 2x designated Hide/Pelt.
- Intended for using up excess materials, not efficient farming.
Sawmill
- Converts wood types into more basic forms.
- Require a single Saw Blade as fuel
- Examples:
- Core/Fine/Yggdrasil Wood → Basic Wood (or sometimes FineWood).
- Designed for quick conversion, not a woodcutting replacement.
Kiln
- Now accepts all wood and bark to produce coal.
- Special cases:
- Bark & Moss → Produce Coal Bits
- Bits can later be converted into full Coal.
- Bark & Moss → Produce Coal Bits
- Also used to bake Clay Mold into Clay Bricks for building recipes.
Miscellaneous
Windmill
- No major changes.
Spinning Wheel
- Early-game: Create Straw Thread by hand.
- Later: Use Spinning Wheel for improved efficiency.
Refinery
- Now accepts:
- Soft Tissue
- Black Tissue
- Oil
- Outputs:
- Corrupted Eitr
- Refined Oil
