Setup
I alway wanted to make mining a bit more dangerous, since it is a rather boring activity, and turn mining into something like a dedicated mining mission requiring protection. In vanilla, however, mining and chopping wood have the same noise, so noise based spawners would also target chopping wood, which would be excessive. This mod lets you configure noise from mining and chopping. Mining Noise also increases when repeatedly carried out, before it falls off.
Also included are two biome specific SpawnThat spawner configs of noise sensitive guards. Currently they are more balanced towards group play, so maybe turn down SpawnChance and MaxSpawned.
Details: Mining noise is turned into a logistic function, which means that mining noise will increase with repetition of the activity and slowly increase towards the global maximum set in the configs. Note however, that since all noise also decreases at 4 per seconds, only a lower threshold can be readhed (since there is a cooldown to pickaxe use).
