Turnip Seed Finder
This mod does one thing, and does it well: finds turnip seeds!
Ever spent hours and hours slogging through swamps, searching for those incredibly-rare yellow flowers, dying a million times and almost quitting the game?
Me too! So I made this.
Now you can find them just by being within 100 meters -- and yes, the distance is configurable.
Features:
- Scans for turnip seed flowers and marks them on your minimap (using the actual game icon for turnip seeds)
- Automatically removes pins when flowers are picked by the player (or if the flowers are destroyed)
- Not restricted to the swamp biome -- it'll also find turnip flowers planted by players
- Displays precise flower locations (with coordinates) in console, when debugging is enabled
- Scans up to any distance you want
- Scans at a configurable interval (5 seconds, 1 second, whatever)
- Allows you to customize pin label text, or hide labels completely.
What are you waiting for? Get those seeds, grow the things and make the spice rack so you can finally make sausages and stop dying so much!
Disclaimer
Full disclosure: I am not a career programmer. This was actually written by Claude AI, after it helped me decompile a couple other mods so we could see what the heck we were doing. It has been rigorously tested and will not of course do anything malicious. Will I update it for the next Valheim update? Maybe. If I do, it will probably be a month late. Don't get angry if it stops working one day. I'm doing my best over here, OK?!
