Experience Tuner
Adjust Valheim skill experience gain and death penalties via configurable multipliers.
- Host authority: only the session host/dedicated server configuration is applied. Clients automatically sync the active multipliers when they connect.
Configuration
After installing, launch the game once to generate the config file at:
BepInEx/config/yourname.valheim.skilltuner.cfg
Edit the file to change:
ExperienceMultiplier(default 1.0) — scales skill XP gainDeathPenaltyMultiplier(default 1.0) — scales death skill loss
Set values higher than 1 to increase the effect, lower than 1 to reduce it, or 0 to disable. When playing multiplayer, make the change on the host (or dedicated server); connected clients will adopt the host's values automatically.
