This mod was originally created by Aedenthorn, and is maintained by TaxzTalis on Nexus Mods https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/2798.
This is simply a mirror for those who use Thunderstore.
►Description:
• This mod gives you the option to make any door a lockable, keyed door during building.
• To create a lockable door, simply hold down the modifier key (Default: Left Ctrl) when placing a door.
• Lockable doors create a custom key in the builders inventory when placed.
• You can lock and unlock the door while having the key in inventory by holding down the modifier key (default left ctrl) while interacting with the door.
• By default you will be prompted to enter a name for the door/key pair which will let you easily tell which key is for which door.
• You can rename a door/key pair by holding down the rename modifier key (default left alt) while interacting with the door.
• Locked doors can only be opened while holding a corresponding key in your inventory.
►Notes:
• If a player doesn't have this mod installed, they will ignore the lock entirely and open the door normally, so the only way this works on public servers is if mod lists are enforced. I think there are mods that do that.
►Config:
• A config file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.LockableDoors.cfg is created after running the game once with this mod).
• You can adjust the config values by editing this file using a text editor or in-game using the Config Manager.
• To reload the config from the config file, type lockabledoors reset into the game's console (F5).
►To Install:
• To install this mod, place the zip file contents in the BepInEx/plugins folder. You will need BepInEx.
