Server-ONLY modpack, it should be installed on the server only. No configs included.
Here is a complete list of mods that should be copied manually to the AzuAntiCheat_Whitelist folder as well as non-admin client:
Client modpack:
- Azumatt-AzuAntiCheat
- coemt-ProtectYourSeed
- ComfyMods-ReturnToSender
- Smoothbrain-Network
- Smoothbrain-ServerCharacters
Don't forget to copy these to the AzuAntiCheat_Greylist folder:
- ValheimModding-Jotunn
- ValheimModding-YamlDotNet
- Valheim.DisplayBepInExInfo.dll
The Admin modpack would contain the aforementioned mods plus:
- Azumatt-CameraThingy
- JereKuusela-Server_devcommands
- JereKuusela-Upgrade_World
Three of the mods can use discord webhooks: DiscordConnector, AzuAntiCheat, ServerCharacters.
DiscordConnector can work as a server-only mod but if full chat functionality is needed the clients should also install:
- nwesterhausen-DiscordConnector_Client
ADDING MODS TO THIS MODPACK
Valheim is a client authoritative game, this means that in a multiplayer setting most mods will have to be installed on the clients, the purpose of the server is to work as a relay and sync the clients. What types of mods should be installed on the server:
- If a mod has version checking - everyone or no one, does not work if installed only on one side
- If a mod syncs configs and you want all clients to use the same config
- Server only mod
- Admin mods – some of them require to be installed on the server too
All the other mods are client-only.
There are some mods that do not sync configs but have functionality that can easily ruin the gameplay! Such mods should be avoided in multiplayer, they’re intended to be used in single-player only.
Server admins can use any mods they want, except in the case when mod has version checking and has to be installed everywhere.
