MaxFoodSlots

MaxFoodSlots is a Valheim mod that changes the maximum number of simultaneous food buffs to your desired amount.

By default, Valheim only allows 3 foods at the same time.
This mod makes that number configurable (e.g. 4, 5, …) and automatically adjusts the ability to eat more or less food to match your chosen value.

Features

• Configurable maximum number of active foods (e.g. 3–8)
• Player.CanEat and Player.EatFood use the configured value instead of the vanilla 3
• HUD:
  • creates additional food slots
  • correctly displays icon, timer and bar for each slot
  • hides extra slots again if you reduce the number
• Config changes can be applied at runtime:
  • Increasing the value: new slots are dynamically created
  • Decreasing the value: extra slots are hidden(if you ate 8 foods and reduce slots to 4, you will still have buffs of all 8 but from that point you will no longer be able to eat more than 4)

Manual Installation

1. Install BepInEx (if you haven’t already).

2. Copy MaxFoodSlots.dll to:

   Valheim/
   └─ BepInEx/
      └─ plugins/
         └─ MaxFoodSlots.dll
