OdinShip Description

Add beautiful, functional, and immersive ships to your Valheim world. OdinShip is a large maritime expansion mod that introduces new boats, shipbuilding progression, naval combat support, and a wide variety of harbor decorations. The mod is designed to enhance exploration, logistics, warfare, and roleplay by expanding everything related to ships and the sea.

OdinShip adds multiple new ships designed for different purposes:

War Ship (designed for ship-based combat)

All ships are crafted at the Workbench and appear under the OdinShip build category.

SHIPBUILDING PROGRESSION (click to expand)

To support advanced ship construction, OdinShip introduces a dedicated crafting flow.

Used to prepare materials required for ship construction.

These materials are used in boat crafting recipes and create a clear progression from small boats to large ships.

NAVAL COMBAT (click to expand)

OdinShip supports naval warfare through custom ship ammunition:

Ballista Bone Arrow
Ballista Bronze Arrow
Ballista Iron Arrow
Ballista Silver Arrow

These bolts are crafted at the Carpenters Table and are intended for use on OdinShip war vessels.

FISHING & PROCESSING (click to expand)

Use the sea not only for travel, but also for production:

Oil Press – extracts oil from fish
Fish Extract – consumable item that increases the player’s carry weight (up to +250 weight)

This system allows players to turn fishing into a meaningful progression mechanic.

DECORATIONS & HARBOR PROPS (click to expand)

Perfect for ports, docks, shipyards, and RP servers:

Decorative ship construction
Fishing nets
Fish dryers
Decorative pulleys (multiple variants)
Totem poles
Cranes and maritime props

These pieces allow you to fully customize and decorate your harbor.

NAVIGATION MUSIC (click to expand)

OdinShipPlus adds custom music while navigating at sea.

How it works

The mod plays music files located in the plugin folder.
Music is played in random order.
Music playback is client-side only and is not synchronized with the server.

Default music

The default file is:
osp_music.ogg

Adding or changing music

You can replace the default music or add more tracks by placing .ogg files with the following names:

osp_music.ogg
osp_music1.ogg
osp_music2.ogg
osp_music3.ogg

All valid files will be played randomly during navigation.

Disabling custom music

To keep the vanilla Valheim navigation music, simply delete osp_music.ogg
Restart the game after removing the file.

Supported format

Only .ogg audio files are supported.
Use any audio converter to convert your music to OGG format.

MANUAL INSTALL (click to expand)

• Mod is required on Server for Config Sync (this is still in development).
• Download the latest copy of Bepinex per author's instructions.
• Place the OdinShip.dll inside of the "Bepinex\plugins\" folder.
