About Valheim Picture Frame

Add a new piece of furniture, a picture frame. You can decorate it with your favorite pictures.

Install

Use Vortex. If you want to install it manually, place it in BepInEX/plugins. As a prerequisite mod, you will also need to install Jötunn, the Valheim Library.

Usage

Place the image files you want to decorate in ValheimPictureFrame/Assets/Images/. Place the picture frame in the game, interact with it with the E key, and enter the name of the image file you want to display, such as "sample-1.jpg".

Notes

Image files can only load png or jpg If you enter a URL starting with http, you can also view images on the web.(Example: https:xxxxx.jpg) For image files set to horizontal/vertical frames, a 16:9 ratio is recommended. If you want to share the same image on the same server, you must have the same image with the same name in a folder inside ValheimPictureFrame/Assets/Images/. Advanced Feature

Starting with version 1.1.0, we have introduced a mechanism to change the frame to any size and you can also decide the axis to be the fulcrum. Since version 1.2.0, you can also specify a folder to play the images inside continuously. The default interval is 5 seconds.

Enter the text widget in the following format. [file name]:[commands]

The command is as follows.

[scale=x] Change to a frame that is x times the size.

(Examples)

sample-1.jpg:scale=2 (you can put a pictureframe that is 2 times bigger)

[pivot=position] The axis that serves as the installation fulcrum of the frame can be set at the upper end, lower end, left end, and right end. You can also combine multiple fulcrum axes

valheim.jpg:scale=2 pivot=bottom (you can put a pictureframe that is 2 times bigger and can be taken to the bottom point)

sample-1.jpg:scale=2 pivot=top,left (you can put a pictureframe that is 2 times bigger and can be taken to the upper left point)

[interval=x] Specifies the interval between image playback when a folder is specified in the text.

(Examples)

sampledir:interval=1 (Play the images in the sampledir folder at one-second intervals)

[frame=none] Hide the frame.
