Plantations

Plantations adds the ability to cultivate all available pickables through seeds.

Pickable Cultivation System

Each cultivable pickable can be planted with the cultivator and will automatically regenerate after being harvested.

With this system, Plantations provides:

• Cultivable pickables
• Automatic regeneration after harvest
• Individual configuration for harvest amount, seed amount, seed chance, and respawn time
• Optional support for seeds on equivalent vanilla pickables as well
• A more practical and immersive farming experience

Available Plantations

Plantations includes the following cultivable pieces:

• Dandelion
• Mushroom
• Yellow Mushroom
• Raspberry Bush
• Blueberry Bush
• Thistle
• Cloudberry Bush
• Smoke Puff
• Fiddlehead

All plantations are built with the Cultivator and can be found under the Wild Pickables category.

Harvest and Seed System

Each plantation produces its main resource when harvested and can also generate an additional seed-related drop according to the configured values.

Compatibility with Vanilla Pickables

Plantations can optionally extend seed drops to equivalent vanilla pickables.

When enabled, vanilla resources such as Dandelion, Mushroom, Raspberry Bush, Blueberry Bush, Thistle, Cloudberry, Smoke Puff, and Fiddlehead can also use the same extra seed drop chance.

This affects only the extra seed-related drop.
The main vanilla drop is not replaced or modified.

If vanilla seed drops are disabled for a given resource, an external method of obtaining that seed will be required.

Timer Interface

Plantations includes a timer interface for growth and regeneration.

Plantation Pickables

Harvested plantation pickables can display:

• Ready state
• Remaining respawn time

Optional Support for Vanilla Plants

The timer interface can also be optionally extended to vanilla crops such as:

• Carrot
• Onion
• Turnip
• Barley
• Flax

This makes it easier to track crop growth during regular farming.

Translation Support

Plantations supports custom translations through an external YAML file.
A sample YAML file may be included in the mod package as a template for creating additional translations.
