The Lost Scrolls (Version 3)

Damon Cave

The Story of the Lost Scrolls

Damon, once the greatest of the celestial guardians, stood as the protector of the sacred holy ground—a place that housed the ancient Scrolls of Accord. These scrolls, written in the language of the divine, were the key to rekindling humanity’s lost connection with the Creator. Legends spoke of a time when mankind and the Creator walked in harmony, but eons of corruption, greed, and war severed that bond. The scrolls, sealed in celestial flame, were the only hope of restoration.

Damon had been entrusted with their protection for millennia, honored as a guardian beyond reproach. But, over time, something stirred deep within him—a question. As he watched the world from above, observing the endless cycle of human suffering and the seeming silence of the Creator, doubt crept into his heart.

"If the Creator truly cared for humanity," Damon thought, "why would he let them wallow in misery for so long? Why conceal the knowledge that could restore the bond?"

This festering doubt turned into rebellion. One fateful night, under the light of a fractured moon, Damon did the unthinkable. He dismissed his sacred duty, severing the protective wards, and stole the scrolls from their holy ground. Concealing them from both the heavens and the earth, he put them beyond reach, sealing away humanity's last hope of reunion with the divine.

In doing so, Damon believed he was liberating mankind—giving them the freedom to carve their own destiny without the Creator’s intervention. But unbeknownst to him, his actions set off a cascade of cosmic consequences. The celestial balance began to tip, and dark forces long kept at bay stirred from their slumber. Without the scrolls to hold them in check, chaos threatened to engulf both the heavens and the earth.
