A BepInEx/Jotunn mod for Valheim that adds three new items centered around the disgusting byproduct of troll territory.

Items

Trollberry

A brown pile of "berries" found near trolls. Looks and smells like you shouldn't eat it.

• Type: Material (not a food item — no food slots used)
• Stack size: 20
• Obtained by: 80% chance to drop 3–5 from any Troll on death
• Effect on consume: Applies Trollberry Toxin — deals 1 damage per second for 20 seconds

Mead Base: Trollberry

A thick, electric-blue syrup that needs fermenting.

• Type: Mead base (place in Fermenter)
• Crafted at: Mead Cauldron (piece_MeadCauldron)
• Recipe: 3x Trollberry, 3x Dandelion, 10x Coal
• Ferments into: Trollberry Mead
• Custom texture: Blue-tinted stew mesh

Trollberry Mead

A glowing blue potion that briefly hardens your skin.

• Type: Mead (consume from inventory)
• Effect: Troll Skin — 25% damage reduction for 90 seconds
• Visual: Blue-textured bottle with blue point light glow

How to Obtain

1. Kill a Troll — 80% chance to drop 3–5 Trollberries.
2. Take your Trollberries, Dandelions, and Coal to the Mead Cauldron.
3. Craft Mead Base: Trollberry.
4. Place the mead base in a Fermenter and wait.
5. Collect your Trollberry Mead and face the world with troll-hardened skin.

• Jotunn 2.x

Installation

1. Install BepInEx and Jotunn.
2. Drop TrollberryMead.dll into BepInEx/plugins/TrollberryMead/.

Known Behaviour

• Trollberry toxin ticks deal true damage (bypasses armor) at 1 HP/sec. Eat at your own risk.
• The Troll Skin buff stacks with other damage reduction effects.
• Trollberry is an ItemType.Material — it will not appear in food slots or show food stat tooltips.
