Recurring/Custom Biome Splash Messages

Use console commands and the splash message that appears when discovering a new biome to:

• Set custom text that will appear with a keypress
• Toggle whether or not the accompanying sound effect plays when the custom text is shown
• Toggle whether or not to show the biome message upon entering a biome even if you've already discovered it, Meadows included

Useful for video/content creation to essentially give in-game title screens.

Display Custom Text

• Press the "=" key to display current biome or custom text.

Console Commands

• setsplashtext Custom Text - Sets "CUSTOM TEXT" to display when the custom splash message is shown.

  • Use setsplashtext without any additional text to display current biome when the custom splash message is shown. (Default behavior)

• togglesplashsound - Toggles if the sound effect plays when the custom splash message is shown. (ON by default)

• togglebiomesplash - Toggles whether or not the name of a biome appears each time a biome is entered regardless of discovery. (OFF by default)
