Tank Basics | How to Operate?

General Understanding

Tank has a lot of unique stats compared to other survivors, such as 'Engine Power,' or 'Thrust Power.' This page will help you understand a little bit more of how components work.

Engine Power

When building your tank, you will come across this. This is acceleration in a sense, with each body possessing its own stat.

Engine Power does not affect max speed. Instead, engine power helps fight against the weight of your tank's body. The more weight, the less speed. More engine power can help negate the weight.

Though, Engine Power does not affect Thrust Power.

Thrust Power

Tank cannot normally jump, so it is aided by thrust instead. Thrust has a unique ability to angle your tank in different directions while flying, which if you rotate fast enough, can land stunts.

Thrust Power is how strong the tank's thrusters are when holding the jump button. Each body has its own thrust power stat, but weight can negate its strength.

Thrust Power can be benefited by the Utility's passive, or items such as H3AD-5T v2, and/or Hardlight afterburners.

Thrust Power does not affect utility speeds, nor affect fuel.

Fuel

Tank has fuel, which helps with its utilities and thrust. The amount of fuel you start with is tied to the build you make.

Items such as Hopoo Feathers and Wax Quail (and more) can increase fuel count considerably, helping you become more mobile in the air (or on the ground).

Fuel replenishment is affected by attack speed. The more attack speed, the faster the replenishment (and vice versa if less).

Rotation

Tank does not instant-turn like other survivors do. Be aware of where your tank is aiming, or you might just miss!

Tank's rotation speeds are dependent on the body and turret you choose. No other factors affect this at all, so you don't need to worry about anything other than the direct stat.

Weight

Your tank has weight, a thing all survivors possess. Though, your weight is modifiable.

The more weight your tank has, the slower you travel, and the slower you accelerate. Though, the more weight you have, the more easily you can push other enemies! More weight also means less knockback to the tank.

Know that more weight means less rotation speed in the air.

Passive options in your tank hold 0 weight.

Play

The tank's greatest mobility feature is the capability to sprint in any direction. This helps you avoid enemies while also shooting simultaneously. Yes, you can run and shoot all you want unlike other survivors.

The greatest weakness is the lack of vertical mobility- the tank does not harness a jump. It must use fuel to thrust onto other platforms (or ramp off onto such), so be aware of your fuel when you do fly!

It is recommended to pick up healing items as soon as possible for the tank, as the tank has the most abysmal health regeneration amongst all survivors (0.5 hp/s). Don't worry, your tank's heavy damage will help you along the way before you get into further stages.
