README

Quality

Introduces 4 new qualities for all white, green, red, and void items: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, each with unique additional effects on top of their standard versions.

Quality items stack in both their quality effect and as another instance of the non-quality item. For example, having 3 regular Tougher Times and 2 Uncommon Tougher Times will give the same block chance as if you just had 5 regular Tougher Times.

Qualities of the same item all increase the same stat, and stack together. Stats that are changed with quality are marked with a blue diamond icon in item descriptions.

Quality stats that are non-stacking only apply the stat of the highest quality of that item in your inventory.

Quality items have a small chance to drop from any regular item source, and always drop from Quality chest variants.


Quality printer variants allow you to trade a quality item for a different item, while keeping the quality tier the same.

Quality items can also be scrapped to produce Quality Scrap, these act just the same as regular scrap, but they can only be used in Quality Printers.

As of right now, all quality scrap is converted into non-quality scrap when entering Commencement, this is because they currently have no use on the moon and letting you use them in the Cauldrons is better than letting you do nothing at all.

Includes a 25% increased difficulty scaling to balance out the more powerful on-average items, can be disabled in config.

This mod is in beta, Quality boss items and other features will be added at some point in the future.

  • Properly Persistent Profiles Patch Plugin
    • Makes sure your logbook progress is not lost when launching a new profile. IMPORTANT: This mod does not work retroactively, if you launch the game at any point without it installed, progress will be lost unless manually backed up.
