- Now grants enemies: +30% Attack Speed (further +7.5% per Lunar item owned by the holder) and +30% Movement Speed (further +7.5% per Lunar item owned by the holder).
- Critical Strike Bonus (Holder):
- Condition based on wealth/poverty removed.
- Now grants: +10% Critical Strike Chance (further +10% per Lunar item owned by the holder) and +10% Critical Strike Damage (further +10% per Lunar item owned by the holder). This bonus applies per stack of the Gospel.
- Low Health Attack Speed Bonus (Holder):
- Activates at or below 60% combined health (was 50% HP).
- Grants +0.05 flat attack speed per second while in combat.
- Bonus caps at +0.05 per Lunar item owned by the holder, with an overall cap of +0.75 total (this overall cap can be increased by +0.25 per Lunar item owned).
- Resets progressively when out of combat.
- Movement Speed Bonus (Holder):
- Now grants +25% movement speed (multiplicative) per stack of Gospel of Irresponsibility.
- Proximity Damage/Armor Effect (Holder vs Enemies within 25m):
- Holder now gains +6% total damage per nearby enemy (caps at a maximum of 3 enemies, this cap increases by +2 for each Lunar item owned by the holder). This bonus applies per stack of the Gospel.
- Holder now loses 1 flat armor per nearby enemy (this penalty is increased by +1 armor for each Lunar item owned by the holder). This penalty applies per stack of the Gospel.
- Death Penalty (Holder):
- On death, attempts to remove: 1 random Red item, OR 3 random Green items, OR 5 random White items.
- The previous debuff for failing to remove items has been removed.
- Aura of Chaos (Enemies within 25m):
Added
- New Item: Gospel of Failure (Tier 1 / White Item)
- Theme: Finding unexpected strength in moments of weakness.
- Core Mechanics:
- When hit by an enemy, one stack of this Gospel temporarily breaks, transforming into a "Broken Gospel of Failure" in your inventory.
- Upon breaking, you receive a random buff from a predefined list for 10 seconds (+5 seconds per total stack of Gospel of Failure, including broken ones).
- Possible buffs include: Increased attack speed (Energized), a Warbanner-like aura, significant health regeneration (Acrid's Poison), increased damage (Effigy of Grief's Power), 100% critical strike chance (Ocular HUD's Focus), or invisibility with increased movement speed (Stealth Kit's Haste).
- If you receive a buff you already have from this item, its duration is refreshed.
- Items break one by one. A distinct sound of shattering glass indicates when an item breaks.
- Synergy with Gospel of Culpability: If a player holding the Gospel of Culpability dies anywhere in the stage, you gain a permanent buff (until the end of the current stage) granting +15% Damage and +15 Armor.
- All "Broken" Gospels of Failure are repaired (reverting to their normal state) at the start of each new stage.
- This item is subject to the "major Gospel" exclusivity rule.
