Within Risk of Rain 2 and its mods, plenty of features are overtuned, undertuned, or flat out broken in some regard. These mods aim to make runs more consistent and enjoyable through buffs, nerfs, and bugfixes.
All relevant mods are listed below, organized alphabetically in their respective category. Each mod has an explanation of its effects, as well as any changes to the configs.
- Makes new stacks of Blight reset duration of all Blight stacks, similar to how Bleed functions.
- Makes Acrid's melee a more reliable option in combat.
- Aegis now stops the decay of temporary barrier, making it no longer worse than Topaz Brooch in most scenarios.
- Increases the proc coefficient and hitbox height of Arrow Rain.
- Replaces slow effect with a root.
- Fixes incorrect skill description for damage values.
- Allows control over the effects of Void Band via config file.
- Currently configured to have 10 second cooldown and deal 200% damage per stack.
- Adds back on kill regen effects to Bison Steak.
- Buffs Hunter's Harpoon to match Risk of Rain Returns.
- Returns Ben's Raincoat to its former glory, without negating Eclipse 8 Curse.
- Makes Artificer's ice wall block projectiles.
- Makes Engineer's mobile turrets sprint when possible.
- Several buffs and nerfs for the vanilla survivors.
- Nerfs an attack used by the Brass Monolith, a boss enemy from Forgotten Relics.
- Changes Wisp attacks from hitscan to a fast projectile.
- Gives the Lunar Chimera Wisps damage falloff over large distances.
- Nerfs Paladin to be more in line with vanilla survivors.
- Several buffs and nerfs for the vanilla survivors.
- Nerfs the monstrosities known as 'Xi Constructs' and changes their AI.
- Fixes attacks not always aiming at the crosshair.
- Prevents sounds from playing extremely loud due to a bug.
- Fixes vanilla damage over time particles being too large sometimes.
- Fixes Commando's primary fire rate being capped lower than intended.
- Prevents Mercenary's Eviscerate from targeting allies.
- Prevents Safer Spaces from popping during Eviscerate.
- Fixes a bug with Archaic Wisp projectiles.
- Fixes console spam from Genesis Loop in various scenarios.
- Fixes odd bugs with REX's utility that could crash the game.
- Fixes Flurry losing projectiles at high attack speed.
- Prevents run reports randomly being deleted.
- Makes Huntress able to target enemies nearest to her crosshair.
- Fixes the game often treating regular Lemurians as Devotion Lemurians
- Fixes most Mercenary skins broken by the Devotion Update.
- Fixes MUL-T's Nailgun not firing its shotgun burst when cancelled by most actions.
- Configured to not increase Nailgun bullet radius to match Commando.
- Fixes a bug causing you to ping yourself at certain camera angles.
- Fixes unpredictable multiplayer lag for Mithrix's 'pizza' attack.
- Fixes bugged Thunderslam audio volume.

Visual/Audio, Performance, and Tweaks (WIP)
Of course, not all QOL involves balance or bugfixes. These QOL mods add new features or tweak what's already there to give the player(s) the best possible experience!
All relevant mods are listed below, organized alphabetically in their respective category. Each mod has an explanation of its effects, as well as any changes to the configs.
- Makes every AI ally (except Emergency Drones) pathfind away from implosions from void enemies.
- Immunity to implosions is also enabled in configs, and can be disabled.
- Makes Artificer's Primaries scale with attack speed instead of cooldown.
- Automatically skips the ending credits.
- Changes the loading screen to be more accurate, and not freeze on 100%.
- Makes the chat easier to use, and adds the ability to scroll.
- Adds the ability to disable any addition from any mod via config file.
- Currently used to disable features from a variety of mods that do not have configs to do so. Open the config yourself for specifics.
- Adds an artifact that prevents self damage from inflicting Curse in Eclipse 8.
- Adds your Devotion lemurians' collective inventory to the TAB menu.
- Reworks the director to spawn a variety of enemies, bosses, and elites instead of groups.
- Allows for players to join a game mid-run.
- Makes scrappers, printers, and shrines of chance much faster.
- Makes it easier to figure out if a chest has been opened.
- Speeds up achievement popups.
- Makes Gups and Geeps count as 2 enemies instead of one.
- Makes the healthbar show when you are immune to damage.
- Allows configuration of sounds and visuals to reduce lag or noise.
- Adds useful information to the UI, and more detailed item descriptions.
- Picking up a lunar coin gives all players a lunar coin.
- Displays the number of Shrines of the Mountain active in chat.
- Removes Void Infestors' ability to infest allies.
- Lets you bully the Newt without being kicked out of the Bazaar.
- Removes the absurd bullet spread on Bandit's alternate primary.
- Requires an input to pick up any item.
- Now they have no excuse for stealing your items!
- Allows runs to be saved each stage in case of crashes or major bugs.
- Allows for quick restarting of runs with two new menu buttons.
- Modifies item names to include their "Rainglish" counterparts to ease confusion with newer players.
- Allows manual unlocking of any unlockable content through the logbook or in lobby by right-clicking on it.
- Because 16 allies per player wasn't enough.
- Makes everything load faster when launching the game.
- Makes Mul-T's Scrap Launcher scale with attack speed instead of cooldown.
- Makes the lobby possible to navigate with mods.
- Displays what killed you in chat.
- Prevents the game from locking your mouse movement on startup.
- Allows for control of the order survivors are shown in the lobby.
- Allows revival of dead teammates, preventing permadeath in multiplayer.
- Removes momentum locks from vents, Wax Quail, etc.
- Prevents multiplayer countdown from starting until all players have selected "Ready".
