README

Info

This pack consists of complete Risk of Rain 1, Risk of Rain 2 and DEADBOLT soundtracks. The file settings.xml has been configured to support the included tracks - basically, game's original ost plays on the same stages as vanilla with added music from 2 other games. I tried to stay as accurate to the mood of each stage as possible when assigning tracks to them and only resorting to a bit more fun stuff while working with hidden realms (for example, Bulwark's Ambry and its massive disco ball in the middle is now appropriately a home to a disco party!).

All credit goes to Kyle Paulsen for developing the original mod (https://thunderstore.io/package/Kyle/OriginalSoundTrack/) and to Chris Christodoulou for composing the soundtracks.

Installation

If you're not using mod managers, simply put the mod folder in BepInEx' "plugins" folder.

Customization

If you want to add more tracks or change stages assigned to them, refer to the manual of the original mod (though it doesn't mention Sundered Grove stage id, which is "rootjungle").

Volume can be altered in settings.xml under "volume" tag (from 0 to 1, by default it is set to 0.5).

Compatibility

The mod is incompatible with any other mod that is using NAudio.dll to play sounds. Make sure you either delete or disable the conflicting audio mods.

Known issues

  • The collection is incomplete (missing Do It Yourself OST, Hexadecimal OST, The Sea Will Claim Everything OST, etc.)
  • Music on title screen/in lobby stops playing after about 20 minutes (enter another scene to fix this)
  • Mod breaks if it doesn't play sounds for too long (restart the game)
