Survivors - Railgunner
Updated 2 days agoRailgunner
Railgunner is a glass cannon, but with the power of item stacking, the glass part isn't enough of a downside. Similar to Loader, Railgunner is getting some slight nerfs in her power.
Default Secondary | M99 Sniper (nerf)
- Damage reduced from 1000% to 800%.
- Perfect reload damage bonus reduced from 500% to 400%.
- (Indirect) Simply scoping in longer counts as a combat skill for Red Whip and the reworked Warbanner (actually firing still does). Additionally, no longer delays out-of-combat activation when reloading.
Comments: Railgunner's default secondary is really used as her primary, and these numbers are frankly absurd. Even this nerf is on the lenient side, but I didn't want to change the breakpoints for early-game enemies.
Alternate Special | H44 Marksman (tweak)
- (Indirect) Simply scoping in longer counts as a combat skill for Red Whip and the reworked Warbanner (actually firing still does).
Default Special | Supercharge (tweak)
- Damage reduced from 4000% to 3200%.
- Charging no longer cancels sprint (firing obviously does).
- Weapon offline duration after firing reduced from 5s to 3s.
Comments: I'm slightly nerfing Supercharge's high damage in exchange for reducing the penalties for using it and making it feel more fluid.
Alternate Special | Cryocharge (nerf)
- Damage reduced from 2000% to 1600%.
- Charging no longer cancels sprint (firing obviously does).
- Skill doesn't start recharging until after the charging animation has finished (effective +3s cooldown, reduced by attack speed).
- Affected by the general execute rework. Large enemies have halved execute thresholds. Since teleporter bosses can't be frozen, this only applies to False Son and Mithrix.
Comments: Cryocharge is way more powerful than Supercharge due to the lack of drawbacks and the freeze execute, so its damage nerf is much more impactful than that of Supercharge. In addition to making it more fluid by not canceling sprint, it is also receiving an indirect penalty to its recharge duration, putting it a little bit closer to the behavior of Supercharge (which can't even recharge until the offline duration ends).
