Fisherman

Fisherman is a Melee, Range, and Summoner hybrid guy who stinks like fish. Fisherman's mobility is weak, but he offers powerful crowd control and utility to force enemies to fight on his terms and clear stages quickly.

Kit

Fisherman currently has his Passive, 4 core abilities, and 1 alternative special.


Passive - The Hooks
Certain attacks Hook fish, pulling them close. If a fish is too heavy to be Hooked, bleed them for 120% damage.
Primary - Debone
Thwack in front for 260% damage. Every 3rd Attack is a long range stab that Hooks fish.
Secondary - Cast
Non-Lethal. Charge up and cast out an arcing hook. Recall it to hook fish for 385% damage. Can Hook all kinds of Treasure...
Utility - F153 Mobile Shanty Platform
Deploy a Directable Drone that you can stand on. It slowly fires explosive rounds for 350% damage.
Special - Launch a sticky bomb that Tethers fish. Re-Activate to Hook Tethered fish inwards and detonate for 2x500% damage.

Alt Special - Steady The Nerves
Stunning. Regenerative. Perform a forceful uppercut for 400% damage. Then throw the bottle for 150% damage.

Compatibility

  • If you are a filthy autosprint user, Fisherman's Primary will not work with RTAutoSprintEx or autosprint via Aerolt. .score's alternative AutoSprint mod does work.
  • The Custom UI element for Fisherman's Utility does not work properly with RiskUI, and may not work with other HUD mods.
  • Fisherman's platform doesn't work properly with KCCdownpatcher, causing it to become slippery and hard to stand on.
  • AllyAttackBlock interferes with intended synergies between Fisherman's abilities and his platform.
  • Ancient Scepter has an issue that causes fisherman (and some other characters) to not fire any projectiles from his special.
  • scannerplusone causes the small radar pulse emitted on m2 projectile to be much larger than intended,
  • DroneMeld prevents Cast from hooking broken turrets

  • 0.3.14 - 12/12/25

    • Fisherman's Passive has been converted to throw things in the same way drifter does. This now means things you hook can deal damage, and you can hook more interactables than you could before. The consequence of this is that throwing things is slightly less consistent than before.
    • You may now hook living Allies using Cast.
    • Hooking things that are very close to their target should no longer result in them shooting into the skybox.
    • This update is somewhat rushed and experimental. As always, please give me feedback and report and bugs you find in the discord.

    • Fixed an issue with junior causing him to shoot much less often than he should've been due to incorrect skill driver configuration
    • Cast now consumes all stocks at once to fire additional hooks with spread around the center hook.
    • Hook forces now apply additively to monsters over the mass limit, essentially meaning you can hook bosses if you have enough secondary stocks.
    • Man O War now consumes all stocks at once to create additional floating bomblets on activation, adding another instance of 500% damage per extra stock
    • Cast hook projectile now properly orients with fly direction on recall
    • Mass increased from 300 to 700 because funny lore accuracy

    • Minor Performance improvements to platform
    • Platform cannon now properly syncs with additional stocks to your utility. Platform cannon will reload all stocks at once, causing a burst fire like behavior.
    • Platform's bonus movement speed with level has been removed due to it causing the platform AI to break in the late game.
    • Platform's base movement speed has been increased.
    • Platform's Armor per level has been increased.
    • Platform's health has been converted to shield to improve survivability. (Experimental)
