README

For some reason, despite the tooltip saying Genesis Loop triggers at 25% health, the code implies it actually triggers at 20%, which is oof. I haven't double checked in a live game because I'm lazy.

This mod does 2 things. It raises the activation threshold of Genesis Loop to 35% max health (this i have tested, it definitely triggers at 35%), and it gives you an armor buff for 3 seconds. If you ever played Blood Death Knights in WoW, you'll feel like it's Will of the Necropolis.

Note this DOES make Genesis Loop a LOT stronger, you will notice it's a lot easier to safely and consistently abuse it. The laser from the stone titans that once instilled fear will now inspire hope, as you run into all the enemies and not away. With how rare Boss Items are, I personally think it's ok to have it like this. If you wanna give it a try, by all means!

Hint: If you like to play with the Artifact of Vengeance, I highly recommend letting the dopplegangers beat you up first so your Genesis Loop triggers first. They can, and will one shot you.

todo: add a config so you can mess with health threshold yourself, or toggle whether it gives the armor buff at all.

[1.0.0]

  • Genesis Loop activation threshold raised from 20% to 35%
  • Genesis Loop now gives a powerful armor buff (67% reduced damage) for 3 seconds upon reaching target health threshold.
