Adds over 85 items to Astroneer, including:
Generally adds more options for Astroneer players to decorate and design their base. Current resource costs are subject to change, and more content will likely be added in the future.
Most content is found towards the bottom of the small printer menu (tab 2 of the research menu) and is researchable for a variety of bytes. I recommend looking at the flags in creative, if you are worried about their costs before researching them.
Setting a resource container on a rotator platform makes it separate from the pillar it would normally sit on, which allows you set the canister to output without it flooding the table! This wasn't intentional, but I found it to be incredibly useful, so I thought I'd mention it.
Fast enough activations on a T4 rotator will create a fluid rotation animation, which I found to be around 6 or less repeater ticks.
The collider platforms have a couple of interesting quirks. If you place an item on them, it will inherit the rotation of the collider platform beneath it, if you choose to rotate it. Keep in mind the warning regarding rotation below, though. I tried adding oxygen support to the collider platforms, but ran into some issues. I'll see what I can do in the future to add this functionality, but for now, be careful about your oxygen network if you plan to stand on them.
Most items in this mod are found in the bottom of the T2 (Small Printer) menu. The MegaPlatform is currently the only exception, and is found in the bottom of the T4 (Large Printer) menu.
Some items contain collision, which can have some funky behavior. try to interact with these items away from your base to avoid flinging your car into space! Once slotted, unless the platform these are sat on moves, these are safe though.
Some items rotate on player or actuator input. This behavior works great, but currently doesn't well when leaving the game. A fix is in the works for this issue, but for now, certain items might be less useful, such as the T2 rotator for auto-arms.
Some items contain invisible slots. These slots are outlined in their descriptions, but sometimes you may need to look around a bit to try and find where they are. For example, the T1 Flag post A has a invisible medium flag slot above one of its ends, but this slot is completely invisible.
This mod adds a lot of new items to Astroneer. If an update breaks the mod, all sorts of un-fun things (from crashing, to removing all the mod assets, and more) can happen until the mod is updated. Play at your own risk, save copies and save often, but don't forget to have fun!
