Zeina's Essentials (Hosting)

A modpack with the goal of separating multiplayer and hosting mods apart to allow for a cleaner experience on both ends, including mods that benefit the hosts or require the host to have them installed to function, configuration for this pack is only really needed for self-imposed moderation purposes.

This is one of three Essentials modpacks that I made, the other two focusing on singleplayer and multiplayer, they'll be linked at the bottom!

List of Mods

Host mods

Mods that improve the hosting capabilities and safety of lobbies, most of which are fully server-sided.

Host Moderation: Enhances the moderation of your lobby and allows you to assign operators via commands
Auto Moderation: Adds automod like Discord. Configuration: com.s0apy.cfg
Hard Anti-Cheat: Adds a highly configurable anti-cheat. Configuration: HardAntiCheat.cfg (in public testing)
Perfect Guard: Patches some vulnerabilities in the game's multiplayer systems
ASCII Character Protector: Limits messages and names to 32-126 ASCII characters to prevent crashes and error spam
- This is for English-speaking lobbies, you may wanna disable this if your lobby uses characters outside of the 126 ASCII table
- Note: Due to a technical mistake, BeyondLimits by the same author will cause this mod to be skipped and not loaded
Party Up: Allows for 100 player lobbies and parties, the host having it means everyone gets uncapped parties
Server Extras: Bonus client-side mod that adds latency analytics like ping and TPS with toggle hotkeys. Configuration: EasySettings

Optional mods that benefit from the host having them installed to fully function.

Homebrewery: Core mod with some functionality requiring the host to have the mods installed. Configuration: Homebrewery.cfg (User Manual)
- Semi-suggest getting EverythingBrewery (performance concerns) or finding packs here
- If you don't want custom weapon stats, you can turn on NoWeaponStats in configurations
Chat Extras: Vastly improves the game chat, both client & host need the mod installed for 500 character messages. Configuration: EasySettings
Chat Colors: Allows players to customise the colour of their messages, the host having it means everyone can use it
DPS UI: Measures DPS and tracks time for dungeons & bosses with party support, host needs the mod installed. Configuration: EasySettings

Bonus excluded mods

These are mods that I chose/had to exclude for one reason or another, but are still great and cool mods you might be interested in supporting on the lobby.

ValhATLYSS: (WIP) Raises the level cap to 64, both client & host need it installed. (Currently in public testing)
ATLYSS Dedicated Server: Allows for headless lobby hosting, not included in the modpack as it does nothing without configuration
Map Loader: Custom maps loader, both client & host need the maps installed to work
- Semi-suggest EverythingMaps (performance concerns) or finding custom maps here
Prop Placer: Allows players to place custom props with chat commands, both client & host need it installed. Configuration: firenoobsta.propplacer.cfg (these only apply to players on your lobby as the host)
- Note: As of writing, only Starlight Magistics Academy Props adds more props

Dependency mods

These are mods that other mods rely on to function, and don't need to be tampered with as a result.

BepInEx Pack: Unity mod loader that basically all mods are using. Configuration: BepInEx.cfg (pre-configured already)
Easy Settings: Adds a 5th tab to the settings for configuring some mods easily
- Incompatible with AtlyssPluginSettings currently, use EasySettings for now, but both will be linked once fixed
GLTF: Optional dependency of Homebrewery for custom 3D mesh support
Code Yapper: Forked version of a networking library that a bunch of mods use for multiplayer syncing
SQLite 4 BepInEx: Used by ChatColors to contain save data
