Vanilla Redux

A balance overhaul mod for Balatro.

Many jokers and other elements have been reworked and updated — familiar tactics require rethinking, and new strategies emerge. Each run feels fresh and the gameplay becomes more intense.

Requirements

• Steamodded ≥ SMODS v26.1002.0
• Lovely ≥ 0.10.0

Compatibility

Tested with vanilla Balatro and Talisman. Other mods may cause conflicts — please report incompatibilities via Issues.

Installation

Install with a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager (for example r2modman). Steamodded and Lovely are installed automatically as dependencies.

Manual install without a mod manager:

1. Install Steamodded and Lovely.
2. Download the latest release .zip from the Releases page.
3. Extract the VanillaRedux folder into %APPDATA%/Balatro/Mods.
4. To update, delete the old VanillaRedux folder and extract the new version.
