Sagatro brings classic fairy tale elements into the world of Balatro!
Immerse yourself with Story Mode - a unique twist to gameplay that allows you to traverse the world full of storybook characters and one-of-a-kind mechanics.
🛠️ Current Features
- ✨ 149 New Jokers from various stories (+14 more with Talisman installed!).
- 📕 Story Mode: Enable the natural flow of a story - progress to get stronger, defeat the final boss to win regardless of win Ante. You can treat this mod as a simple content pack by turning it off.
- 🔴 12 New Boss Blinds: these will pose as minor and major villains in Story Mode.
- 🎲 80+ new consumable cards - level the playing field against cruel blinds. Also accommodated by 8 Vouchers and 5 Tags.
- 🟩 Divinatio: upgraded version of Tarot cards, providing better enhancements and deck-fixing.
- 🟦 Celestara: upgraded version of Planet cards, providing even more poker hand levels with interesting cross-poker-hand interactions.
- ⬛ Eldritch: upgraded version of Spectral cards, providing chaotic flips to your deck, albeit with more controls and less downside.
- 🟪 Enchantment: newest addition, get up to 3 powerful global effects to supercharge your run.
- 📘 3 New Decks (+Sleeves):
- 🟪 Saga Deck - simple yet powerful effects, specifically designed for Story Mode.
- ⬜ Grimoire Deck - Powerful deck fixing with Divinatio and Eldritch cards.
- 🟦 Celestaverse Deck - Explore various ways to upgrade your poker hands with Celestara cards.
- ↗️ Revamped stake effects for Story Mode:
- ⚪ White Stake: unchanged
- 🔴 Red Stake: Small Blind score requirement is 20% higher
- 🟢 Green Stake: Reduce all joker's sell value by $1
- ⚫ Black Stake: If Ante doesn't increase, permanent +$1 to all joker's buy value
- 🔵 Blue Stake: When Boss Blind is selected, -1 discard
- 🟣 Purple Stake: Reroll count is limited to 8 per shop
- 🟠 Orange Stake: Required score scales faster for each Ante
- 🟡 Gold Stake: Jokers must last 3 rounds to be sellable
- ℹ️ Huge JokerDisplay integration, providing useful informations at a glance.
- 🗻 Boost your Cryptid addiction with this mod's own Exponential Mult - an extremely powerful operation used for deep endless runs.
- 🎨 Custom artwork: from talented artists (and sometimes from the coder as well).
- 🎵 Custom music: Ease your stress with a lofi-themed version of the original soundtrack. It's not copyrighted* so feel free to stream!
* Pocket Mirror storyline alters background music based on your current progress, many of which may be copyrighted. If you encounter issues, go to Sagatro's config tab and use the "No external" option of Sagatro music.

📜 Installation
- Requires Lovely and Steamodded. These twos are the core components of modded Balatro.
- This mod provides its own Exponential Mult - an endgame feature derived from Talisman. While they are (mostly) balanced, it's recommended to also install Talisman to maximize your experience.
