BluePrinceNotes
An in-game notebook. Press F2 during a day to write on a ruled page. Each note is stamped with the day and the room you were in. You can search your notes, and they carry over from day to day.Changelog
1.0.0
First release.
Requires MelonLoader 0.7.3 or later. See the README for installation, including the launch options for Linux/Proton.
Included:
- An in-game notebook on a ruled paper page. Press F2 during a day to open it. While it's open your character is frozen the way the pause menu freezes it, so typing doesn't move you. Ctrl+F2 closes it and unfreezes you if you ever get stuck.
- A list of your notes, most recently changed first, with search that ignores accents and case. Each note shows the day and the room where you started it, never the calendar date or the time of day.
- An editor with the usual keys, mouse selection, undo and the system clipboard. Accented letters typed with dead keys work, including under Proton.
- Notes are saved to
UserData/BluePrinceNotes/notes.jsonwhile you type, and the previous file is kept as a backup. - Typing in the notebook can't trigger the game's hidden debug codes, one of which resets your Steam achievements.
Settings are in UserData/MelonPreferences.cfg under [BluePrinceNotes].
