Better physics and better collision for BONELAB, all controlled from BoneMenu. Every option can be toggled live, mid-game, and remembers your settings.
Features
- Better Physics — runs Unity's physics solver at up to 4x the game's default quality. Held items stop micro-jittering, ragdolls settle instead of vibrating, stacked objects stay put, and joints feel solid. Also unlocks the hidden rotation-speed cap so swung and thrown objects can actually spin. Includes a repair pass that fixes glitched floating items (gravity gets restored automatically).
- Better Collision — continuous collision detection on physics objects, so fast-moving things stop clipping through walls and floors. Objects in your hands get the strongest CCD mode — swing as hard as you want, it will connect. Your hands get it too, so empty-hand swipes stop phasing through geometry.
- Better Body Collision — (off by default) your whole physical body — chest, hips, legs, feet — gets the strongest collision mode plus the solver boost, so your body stops phasing through props and walls at speed.
- Finger Fix — per-finger anti-phase: each finger of an empty hand detects surfaces in front of it and curls just enough to rest on them instead of clipping inside. Blends with the game's own hand poses; never fights your grip.
- Quality — High / Ultra / Insane solver presets (12 / 16 / 24 iterations). Ultra is the sweet spot; use High on weaker PCs.
Fusion
Fusion-safe by design. The owner of an object simulates its physics in Fusion, so everything you hold and throw is broadcast to the lobby with the improved behavior. The mod never touches other players' avatars or network-driven bodies, so nothing desyncs. Works identically with or without Fusion installed.
How to use
Open BoneMenu → Better Physics → flip the toggles. Settings apply instantly and persist between sessions. Turning a toggle off restores every object to its exact original settings.

Installation
Install with a mod manager (recommended), or drop BetterPhysics.dll from the Mods folder of this package into your BONELAB Mods folder.
