The dedicated first-person spectator tool for BONELAB (Patch 6).

Built for Animatronic vs Humans and Hide and Seek modes, Spectator Cam lets you observe any player through their exact point of view with automatic avatar height adaptation — no manual calibration needed.

🌟 Main Features

  • First-Person Spectating: Watch targets through a floating VR screen attached to your headset.
  • Avatar-Adaptive Camera: Automatically matches eye level on all skins and avatars.
  • Target Cycling: Switch between local player and LabFusion clients via thumbstick click or Y/B button press.
  • Instant Exit: Move stick or press WASD to return to gameplay immediately.
  • Configurable Controls: Choose cycle button (Thumbstick, Y/B, or Both) and controller side from BoneMenu.
  • Zero Gameplay Impact: No physics changes, no spawning, no performance cost.

⚙️ How to configure (BoneMenu)

You don't need to edit any text files! Everything is fully integrated into the game.

  1. Open your radial menu and go to Preferences / Mod Settings -> BoneMenu.
  2. Find the Spectator Mod category.
  3. Set Controller Side (Left, Right, or Both).
  4. Set Cycle Button (Thumbstick, ButtonYB, or Both).

📦 Requirements

To use this mod, you MUST have the following installed:

  • MelonLoader (Patch 6 compatible version)
  • BoneLib (Required for player hooks and BoneMenu integration)

⚠️ Known Issues & Warnings

  • Players without an active RigManager will not appear in the cycle list.
  • The VR screen moves with your physical head — this is intentional for comfort.
  • This mod does NOT alter physics, player states, or gameplay mechanics.
  • Use at your own risk.
