Spin
Spin physical props and NPCs, throw them and recall props to your hand with configurable homing, launch speeds, purple hand glow and spatial audio.Spin 1.6.31
Spin is a BONELAB code mod for spinning physical props and NPCs, throwing them, and recalling thrown props to the hand that activated Spin.
Small overhead health bars show other Fusion players' health percentages within
30 metres. Toggle them with Spin > Player health bars (%). Values come from
Fusion's synchronized health state; --% means no valid health data yet.
Hidden players do not display an indicator.
Health changes animate with a scarlet damage segment or a green healing segment,
and a temporary signed percentage beside the health value. Only received health
changes drive the display; healing commands alone do not show success.
Installation
Install the dependencies, copy Mods/Spin.dll into BONELAB/Mods,
and restart the game.
Requirements: MelonLoader, BoneLib, and AudioImportLib 1.3.0. LabFusion is required for multiplayer. Use the same Spin version across the lobby.
Controls
- Clench the chosen fist: hold GRAB + TRIGGER, then quickly press B FOUR TIMES on that controller. Each controller has its own tap counter.
- When
SPIN READYappears, keep the fist clenched and grab a prop or NPC with that hand. If you already hold a prop, Spin applies immediately. - Keep GRAB + TRIGGER held to spin the target at that hand and gradually accelerate it.
- Release Grab to throw the target. Activate Spin again for another target.
Touching a target without grabbing it does not activate Spin. The ready state expires if you do not grab a target before its timeout. Spin can directly grab props and NPCs, not players. One active spin is supported at a time; either hand can activate it. Pressing both B buttons together clears the tap counters. A thrown prop remembers its original hand even if you activate a later Spin with the other hand.
Features
- Smoothly accelerating rotation anchored to the selected hand.
- No collision between the spinning target and your body while held.
- Props launch in the direction of your hand's throwing motion, or along the hand's forward direction when your hand is moving slowly.
- NPCs launch forward with a separately configurable throw speed.
- A spun, thrown prop lifts an NPC when it hits. Fusion players receive a smaller lift.
- Homing recall brings a thrown prop back to its original hand.
- Purple hand glow and spatial sounds for spinning, throwing, and recalling. The recall sound plays from both the returning prop and your hand.
- Spin sounds and effects are synchronized through LabFusion.
Homing recall
After throwing a prop, wait for the configured homing delay, then hold Grab on the hand that threw it. The prop returns toward that hand. Keep Grab held until the recall finishes: releasing it early cancels the recall immediately.
If another player holds the returning prop, homing attempts to detach it. During recall, the prop passes through ordinary props but still collides with NPCs and players. When the receiving hand is empty, Spin attempts to automatically grab the returning prop.
BoneMenu settings: Spin
Enabled: enable or disable Spin.Ready timeout: 10-15 seconds to grab a target after activation.Homing delay: 0.25-10 seconds after throwing.Homing speed: 2-40 m/s.Throw speed: prop launch speed, 1-40 m/s.NPC throw speed: NPC launch speed, 1-40 m/s.
Sounds are embedded in the DLL and loaded through AudioImportLib.
For reliable prop control during Spin and recall, the Fusion host and all participating players should use this version. Active control uses a short, renewed ownership lease; release, disconnect and level unloading clear it. Homing waits for authoritative ownership before moving a prop held by another player. Sessions hosted without this version cannot enforce those leases.
