A friends list and messaging system for BONELAB Fusion. Add the people you meet in lobbies, see when they come online, message them, and jump straight into their game. Everything lives in your wrist menu.
What's inside
- Add friends straight from the lobby player list. LabLink marks who actually has the mod, so you are never guessing who you can add.
- Send, accept, and decline friend requests, plus block or unfriend, all from BoneMenu.
- Live friend status that updates on its own: in your lobby, in another lobby, in BONELAB, online, or offline.
- A one-button Join that actually finds a friend's real open lobby instead of guessing.
- A toast the moment a friend starts hosting, so you do not have to keep checking the menu.
- Recent Players remembers anyone you have shared a lobby with, so you can add them later even if they already left, and it shows if they are hosting a public game right now, friend or not.
- Message friends who are in your lobby, with one-tap quick messages or the keyboard.
- Nicknames, notes, and favourites so your list stays easy to read.
- Do Not Disturb to mute LabLink's own popups when you want quiet.
Setup
Drop LabLink.dll into your BONELAB Mods folder, or let your mod manager install it. You need MelonLoader, BoneLib, and LabFusion. LabLink is a Fusion mod, so Fusion has to be installed.
Open it from BoneMenu under "LabLink".
Good to know
Both players need LabLink installed to see or message each other.
Full status (online, offline, in BONELAB) for your Friends list needs you to be Steam friends with them on Steam itself. That's a Steam limit, not a LabLink one. Recent Players is the one exception: since LabLink already knows their Steam ID from playing together, it can tell you if they are currently hosting a public game even if you are not Steam friends.
There is an optional auto-updater on the GitHub releases page if you install by hand. If you use a mod manager, it already keeps you up to date.
