Important: AI was used to help write the description and assist with parts of the code. The core constraint-blocking functionality is based on code from Awesome Sauce, which I modified and adapted to function as a standalone mod without requiring the rest of Awesome Sauce.

Please do not ask me for Awesome Sauce. It is not included with this mod, and I will not provide it separately.

Self Constraint Blocker

Self-only BONELAB mod that lets you remove constraints affecting your own player rig.

Enable the toggle and any constraint currently attached to your local player — ball socket, elastic, tether, welding, and more — gets cleared automatically every frame.

Features

  • Single BoneMenu toggle: Self Block Constraints, located on its own Self Constraint Blocker page.
  • Self-only: Never targets, touches, or affects other players in a lobby.

How to Use

  1. Install the mod. MelonLoader is required.
  2. Launch BONELAB and open BoneMenu.
  3. Find the Self Constraint Blocker page.
  4. Enable Self Block Constraints.
  5. Any constraints affecting your player will be continuously cleared while the toggle is enabled.

Requirements

  • MelonLoader
  • BoneLib
  • LabFusion

FAQ

Can You Use This on Standalone?

Not currently. I may look into adding standalone support in the future, but there are no current plans for it.

Can I block specific constraint types?

Not currently. The toggle clears all constraint types affecting yourself at once. There is no per-type selection in this version.

Does this remove existing constraints, or prevent new ones from forming?

It removes existing constraints. While the toggle is enabled, constraints affecting your local player are cleared every frame. It does not intercept or prevent constraints from being created.
