Unlock Account Modes

For OFFLINE use only

Debug Mode

This mod enables the developer debug menu, which includes the ability to teleport to game locations, add any item to your character's backpack, force-spawn all area events, enable/disable god mode, force-enable the combat zoom level outside of combat, change the weather and time of day, trigger trains, change the time scale, and more.

Warning: the button "Initiate Oppulence" can trigger Steam achievements accidentally as it gives all items and a lot of XP at once. There are also buttons called "Clear All Achievements" and "Clear Steam Stats" that I would not mess with as they could permanently affect your Steam account achievement/stats for the game.

  • Press Right Alt to cycle through all debug screens.
  • With the inventory/backpack open, press 0 at the top of your keyboard or - on a numpad to open the item debug menu.

The developer debug menu can be turned off in the config file.

Kickstarter Account Flags

This mod is also capable of unlocking Kickstarter backer items separately from the debug menu. Essentially, when you click "Play Offline" the game logs you into a dummy account that does not have any of the account flags set. This means that all Kickstarter backers playing offline will not have the Kickstarter flags set that are associated with their online accounts, and that any new offline characters they create will not have the Kickstarter items that their online characters do.

This mod enables turning on (and off) the specific Kickstarter backer flags, both so existing Kickstarter backers can continue to make new characters & receive the Kickstarter items offline, and so non-backers can get the items outside of using the debug menu, if they want. These flags may influence other areas of the game beyond just receiving the items mentioned below, but the following was what I specifically tested. By default, these flags are all disabled (vanilla game behavior).

These settings work on both existing characters (will be in your Trainmasters Stash with all your other stuff after first log-in to the character with the flags enabled) and new characters.

  • Backer: this flag unlocks the Traveller's Knapsack
  • Early Bird: this flag unlocks the Lantern of Early Light and Ring of Cycles
  • Secret Cultist: this flag unlocks the Fan of the Hidden

All items can be picked up from the Trainmasters Stash in Western Verve Junction or the North-East corner of Crossings.

Configuration

By default, debug mode is enabled and all Kickstarter backer options are disabled. All flags/modes can be enabled or disabled in any combination.

Install this mod then launch the game at least once to generate the config file.

The config file can be easily edited with Thunderstore and R2ModMan. I believe in Thunderstore, click the "Edit Config" button on the left & search for this mod. For R2ModMan, click "Config Editor" on the left side & look for this mod.

Otherwise, the config file is generated in the BepInEx > config folder within the game folder itself and can be edited with a text editor.

Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with all other mods not touching the same fields.

Installation / Uninstallation

Requires BepInEx 5.4.x - I recommend installing both BepInEx and this mod via the Thunderstore app or R2ModMan (supports Linux). Both apps also allow easy uninstallation.

Otherwise, install BepInEx then manually install this mod by unzipping & copying the DLL file to the game data folder\BepInEx\plugins folder. To uninstall, delete the DLL.

This mod can be uninstalled at any time without damaging your save files. HOWEVER, once Kickstarter items have been given to a character, removing this mod will not remove the items and they must be sold or discarded in-game. Similarly, any permanent character changes done with the debug menu will persist after uninstallation.
