Custom Radio

The vanilla game comes with four songs, on satirical radio stations. Sometimes, though, you just wanna hear your own music.

What It Does

• Every folder in CRACK\CustomRadio becomes a new radio station. The songs on it play in name order, and on repeat, and everyone with the same files hears the same song at the same moment.
• The vanilla stations remain in the game, your custom ones start after the 4th, and the buttons just cycle back.
• The folder name shows on the radio's display, and stations are organized with a number, like 01 - in the name; the number isn't shown in game and is used just to track station order.
• Supports MP3, OGG, and WAV. Songs stay compressed in memory, so long playlists are okay!
• Supports internet radio streams in AAC format only, no MP3 streams.

Finding stream addresses Find any station on https://streamurl.link and copy its stream address into stream.txt.

Compatibility

• Every player in the lobby needs it, on the same version. If versions don't match the host's, joining is refused.

Sharing your stations To hear the same music, everyone needs the same CustomRadio folders and files (INTERNET STREAMS ARE THE EXCEPTION; ONLY THE HOST NEEDS THIS). Have one person determine the playlist, zip it up, and pass it around. A player who is missing folders or files in the CustomRadio folder either will hear the wrong song, or nothing at all.

FYI: Just like having any other mods installed, achievements, stats, and leaderboards will be DISABLED. It is recommended that you do NOT use mods with saves you intend on getting achievements with.

Known Limitations

• New stations are only picked up on game start, so the game must be restarted when adding new songs.
• Large libraries are compressed in memory, but may still take a moment to load after launch. Stations won't play music until all of its songs are loaded.
