FreeCamAssist

FreeCamAssist adds a toggleable free camera to Cult of the Lamb with multiple camera modes, movement controls, camera locking, zoom, vertical movement, and mouse look.

Default Controls

• F9 — Toggle free camera
• Insert — Secondary free camera toggle
• F8 — Lock/unlock the current freecam view. While locked, player control is restored and the camera stays in place.
• F10 — Cycle camera mode: Survey → GroundScout → LambView
• F11 — Recenter the current freecam mode near the player
• W / A / S / D — Move the free camera
• Space — Move camera upward
• C — Move camera downward
• Q / E — Move the camera in/out
• Mouse wheel — Move the camera in/out
• Right mouse drag — Look around
• Left Shift — Fast movement modifier
• Left Control — Slow movement modifier

The keybinds and camera settings can be changed through the mod's BepInEx configuration file.

Camera Modes

• Survey — Elevated overview-style free camera
• GroundScout — Lower free camera for looking around the cult grounds
• LambView — Camera positioning intended to stay closer to the Lamb's normal perspective

Installation

1. Install BepInExPack for Cult of the Lamb.
2. Install this package with a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager, or place FreeCamAssist.dll in BepInEx/plugins.
3. Launch the game and press F9 to toggle freecam.

Notes

FreeCamAssist temporarily yields control to the vanilla camera during conversations or scripted camera sequences when that safety option is enabled.
