Laplace Logistics Engine

Laplace is a read-only scientific operations deck for Dyson Sphere Program. Press Ctrl+L to open it, then use the named on-screen tabs for live orbital, alignment, logistics, illumination, power, material-flow, resource, Dyson-sphere, fleet, dependency, and civilization-risk instruments.

The initial release observes DSP's own production-stat recording calls. Its Harmony prefixes do not alter arguments or game state, and it writes no custom save data. It establishes the observation layer before future versions introduce forecasts, shipment reservations, dock congestion, and supply contracts.

Version 0.3 adds first-use contextual tutorials, H to reopen help, Shift+H to reset tutorial completion, three material-flow display modes, U to toggle Technical and Plain Language modes, an alternate Alt+R shortcut for Civilization Risk, and resolution-safe window positioning. The small set of remaining shortcuts is configurable in BepInEx.

Hybrid mode is the default. Each instrument combines its readout with a live signal board rather than leaving unused window space. The Alignment instrument also estimates the time until each destination's next minimum-separation flight window; this is an orbital planning heuristic, not vessel autopilot.

Laplace is read-only: it patches only DSP's production-stat recording calls, does not alter their arguments or results, and writes no data into a save.

Build

dotnet build -c Release

Local development installation uses ./scripts/install-local.sh. Set LAPLACE_PROFILE_DIR to the target r2modman profile when needed.

Tested environment

  • Dyson Sphere Program 0.10.34.28529
  • xiaoye97 BepInEx 5.4.17
  • Clean r2modman profile containing only Laplace and its BepInEx dependency

Laplace owns the permanent BepInEx GUID dev.h3llgoose.dsp.laplace-logistics.
