GK2 Shopping List

Never forget what you came for.

Ctrl + Right Click a recipe in the build menu or a workbench, a quest in the quest tree or its window, a dialogue answer that needs items ("give 10 planks"), or an item a tech unlocks. A small panel shows what to bring, counting what's in your backpack. A task is crossed off when you start the craft, place the building, hand in the quest or give the answer.

  • F2: the full list (by task, total, and your town orders). It is a window of the game: the game pauses and Esc closes only it.
  • Shift+F2: hide or show the panel. Drag the panel by its header to put it where you like; a small mark on a task's header takes that task off the list.
  • Missing something? It shows where else you have it: "+3 Home, +1 Morgue".
  • The mouse wheel scrolls a long panel; a scroll bar shows where you are.
  • Orders tab: town orders with their progress (and an "Add all town orders" button), and what can be raised in town now (house repairs, new shops, shop upgrades) with a + to add it. Made for game 1.010: a saved town task follows the game's current recipe.
  • Where filter: only what can be done in one zone.
  • A + next to a missing ingredient that can be crafted adds that craft too. Ctrl+Shift+right click puts a recipe at the top. A station that runs its queue on its own takes a craft off run by run.
  • Chest icons: chests near you that hold something the list needs show those items on top (optional, size and position adjustable). Factory output storages and the crow nest show them too; they keep off Almanac's lists and Codex's magnifier.
  • Take what the list needs: a button in the storage header of an open chest's window (key X, optional gamepad button) moves what the list still needs into your backpack, no more than is missing and no more than fits. It takes from every chest that side of the window shows, so it works with Storage Access too.
  • Almanac pins: with Almanac, the list window ends with a read-only group of what your pins need; "Also take for Almanac pins" (off by default) lets the take button take for them too.
  • Chests of every place count as have (off by default): the counter then also counts the chests everywhere and shows "bag 3 - here 7".
  • Layout from clipboard: a factory blueprint from Move Buildings becomes one task with the price of all its pieces and the power it needs; the task leaves the list when Move Buildings has pasted all of it. A plain item or a craft task leaves by itself once the backpack holds what it makes.
  • An ingredient that only an alchemy mix makes (Dream Dust) shows which mixes you know under its row.
  • GK2 Codex (0.13.0 and newer) puts a To Shopping List button on its quest cards.
  • One list per save slot, kept next to the save. The save itself is never touched.
  • 11 languages, gamepad supported (R3 add, L2 + R1 window). Works with Travalgard's mods: Almanac (the panel steps around its quest list), Keeper's Lantern (an "Open the list" entry on its wheel; L3 stays free for it), Storage Access, Sorted Chests.

Settings

In the settings window of the SaintArchI mods (F7, or the "SaintArchI mods" button in the pause menu), in the Mods menu (with GK2 Mod Framework), in ConfigurationManager, or in BepInEx/config/gk2.shoppinglist.cfg: hotkeys, gamepad bindings, panel position, window and panel size, chest icons, language. The settings are grouped in blocks; Settings.txt next to the DLL explains each one, in the game's languages.

Manual install

Put GK2ShoppingList.dll and the Settings*.txt files into BepInEx/plugins/GK2ShoppingList/. Needs BepInEx 5.4.23.x (x64).
