Aiyke's code mod pack
Useful bipods, enemies using full auto, low health warning, aim assistance, and more!
A bundle of edits that do a variety of things in the game.
Most features can be enabled/disabled individually.
Here is what is included:
- Bullet penetration edits: most bullets can pierce level 1 body armor but with reduced damage. 12-gauge slug rounds can kill with 2 shots to the chest with level 1 armor.
- Damage multipliers for you and enemies.
- Hit confirmation sound: Plays a flesh impact sound when you hit an enemy over 10 m away. Volume is adjustable.
- Tracer spinning. Mostly noticeable when using scopes.
- Gibs and empty casings sinking into the ground instead of simply disappearing.
- Red player damage effect.
- Low health warnings: white flash if health is below half or quarter after a hit, periodic faint red pulsing if health is below 30% and gets more intense if lower.
- Adjustable explosive splash damage radius.
- More blinding flashbangs.
- Fixed grip positions for EVO-3, AutoMag pistols, and some MP5s.
- Reduced excessive tint on reflex sights. (I also wanted to get rid of the grainy effect, but I couldn't figure it out.)
- Useful and realistic bipods: recoil is mostly backwards so machine guns no longer hover when firing.
- Metric units for cartridge boxes, showing velocity in metres per second and mass in grams. Also shows kinetic energy in Joules and armor piercing power indicators shown as apostrophes (') representing the level of armor it can penetrate.
- Quick bolt operation for all bolt action guns, including anti-tank rifles.
- Adjustable visibility of laser beams.
- Pistol tilting if the slide is pulled all the way back.
- Enemies fire fully automatic weapons in bursts. WARNING: This can make combat significantly harder, especially at close range (<30 m), which is why there is the damage multiplier options.
- Enemies aim for chests instead of heads, so taking cover is more effective.
- Enemy guns have less recoil but more spread, mainly to help enemies hit more consistently.
- Modifiers for enemy stagger resistance, suppression resistance, and movement while shooting.
- Better enemy bullet perception. They can hear bullets flying or landing next to them. Without it, they sometimes don't realise they're being shot at, which is funny.
- Aim assistance/bullet magnetism*: slightly adjusts the horizontal angle of the bullet when it fires. *Doesn't work all the time.
- Disabled collision of enemy guns if they are being held, so they are not impenetrable shields.
- "Ketchup"...Red blood.
- Short forward or backward teleport when tilting the analog stick up or down. Not thoroughly tested; it should only work with teleport movement.
- Spectator view zooming in when aiming + faster FOV adjustment. Make sure the "HD spectator" option is selected in the spectator panel.
The source code (.cs file) is provided. If you wish to use bits of it, all I ask is that you give credit.
Have fun!
