My custom array of Take and Hold songs. Some of the tracks even generously composed SOLEY for this mod by THE Christian Wright The vibe I want to recreate is similar to that of Archeximus' games, with a focus on songs that are more 'methodical' and help me focus. (As subjective and inconsistent of a requirement that is.) The idea is to have variance, fitting the 'rogue-lite' nature of TnH, while also keeping the songs progressing with the stakes of holds. 1-2 are generally lower risk and don't pop as much, 3 bridges the gap, signaling the halfway point, while 4 and 5 both have unique themes in the take/hold phases to signify their importance and the introduction of elevated patrols/boss encryptions. aka: shit gets real
Since endless holds 5+ use the fallback tracks, I've gone balls to the wall crazy with the endless mode music because I need stuff that will keep me from falling asleep for standard, and music that will sound scary for one hit. Enjoy your victory lap.
As a bonus, there are cute little sounds that play depending on which hold you beat, escalating in intensity to match the hold's difficulty. Sound credit to DICE, Battlefield 4.
All tracks have had their volume levels normalized, so there shouldn't be any loud outliers. I recommend setting the volume in BGM loader to 40%, but that's just what I use.
