Customizable Guncases

All guncases and icon plates are now modular using Modular Workshop. In the 1.0 version, there were 102 different guncases. With modularity, there are now over one billion permutations. Also, the icon plate permutations upgraded from just over 400 different plates, to half a million.
Customize the guncases in your safehouse with this mod that adds guncases with a long picatinny rail on their covers that you can adorn with icon plates! Simply slap the plates on the guncase like any other attachment.
Those giant anti-material rifles and machine guns that couldn't fit in standard guncases can now fit in the extra large guncases!
Further optimize the game performance in your safehouse by loading your weapons in guncases to save physics calculations!
Guncase Galore!
- 3 Sizes of Guncase (small, large, extra large), each with two varients (standard and deep)!

- For each of the parts on the guncase you can choose from 25 colors. The customizable parts are the base, cover, handle, left and right latches independently, and the mount on top. This means each case has 25^6 ≈ a quarter billion combinations.
Icon Galore!

Every plate can choose from 25 background colors, 25 border colors + no border, and over 100 icons!

Now includes the full alphabet, upper and lowercase, the 10 digits, and every weapon type I could think of.

Every icon plate uses the same material behind the scenes, which means you can have hundreds being rendered at a time without performance issues.

Now includes small icon plates, should the need arise. But these are mostly for the upcoming icon container.
How to Use
The Modul Platform by Not Wolfie is included in the category with everything, so I recommend you use it. Just throw the guncase/icon plate into the slot to change it. The icon plate UI is pretty straight forward, but for guncases, all the parts are labeled "Receiver Skins" so it can be kinda confusing.

For the small and small deep cases the front has the two latches on the bottom left and bottom right.

From left to right on top, you have the base, cover, and handle.
- Click the hotdog icon on the modul platform to flip the case. The mount customization is on the back.

For large and xlarge guncases, everything is on the front.

On the bottom, left to right, you have the left latch and the right latch

On the top, left to right, you have the mount, base, cover, and handle
Camos!
Works great with CamoShop by NGA, so you can now easily locate your customized weapons!
Important Note: As of right now, there is a bug that makes it so CamoShop skins don't save on Modular Workshop items when leaving the safehouse.
How to Apply Camo to Guncase/Icon Plate

Spawn the camo spray can

Apply camo to spray can. You can use any camo as long as the customization settings are:
For Guncases, use the following settings:
* Set camo mask to metalic * Mask min: 0.2 * Mask Max: 1.0 * Inverse Mask: True
For the background on icon plates, use the following:
* Set camo mask to metalic * Mask min: 0.1/0.2 * Mask max: 0.3 * Inverse Mask: False
For the icon on an icon plate, use the following:
* Set camo mask to metalic * Mask min: 0.5/0.6 * Mask max: 1.0 Inverse Mask: False

The spray can be used on both guncases and icon plates to apply the camo.

Known Bugs

When using the SafehouseProgression mod, a guncase will become inoperable if not closed and locked when exiting the safehouse or the game. I'm not sure I can fix this as it is either an issue with the Safehouse mod or the base game because it also happens with the standard guncases.This is fixed with my own Guncase Lockout Fix mod, which is included in the dependencies in NGA's GuncaseFix Mod. -
Interacting with the cover/latches on guncases while on modular workshop platforms lead to weird physics.

The positions of guncases on modular workshop platforms can be a bit uncomfortable.
Future Plans

(In the immediate future) Icon containers for the small icon plates. Already basically done, but there are still some bugs with vault saving.

Glass guncases that don't deload physics objects (doesn't save performance, but still looks cool)

Maybeee (no promises) glass guncases that save physics calculations while still letting you see your guns

The attachment mount on the guncases is just your standard picatinny rail, which allows, if I may be so presumptuous...
