README

Shampooh's Optics

Adds a variety of optics to fulfill some open niches in H3's armory, and also because I think they look cool.

This is currently in sort of a "pre-release", as the collection isn't finished and the optics aren't quite feature complete. I'm mostly looking for feedback regarding their sight picture, in particular the size and visibility with the reticles. Modern Warfare does some pretty fancy dynamic rendering with its reticles, such that they basically adjust their gamma on the fly and can have variable visibility of the projection noise depending on the environment. Obviously, I can't do that, so I've done my best to recreate their feel as one static rasterized image. Please let me know if you think these work well or not.

Featuring:

  • Modern Warfare
    • APX-5 Holographic
    • PBX Holo 7
    • Aim-Op Reflex
    • Operator Reflex
    • Flip Magnifier
      • Works best with the PBX currently, it's a good bit shorter in length and height than the vanilla magnifiers though and can be easily fit to other reflex and holographic optics
      • In the future, I plan to add variable zoom (2x, 3x, 4x) to it because fuck it why not
  • Escape from Tarkov
    • Holosun HS401G5
      • Working integrated laser!

Many more to come, I hope to at least include the entire selection from MW. This will hopefully include the thermal sights when that functionality has been nailed down by the modding community.
