Simultaneously a return to form and a bold new step forwards, the Russian RPL-20 light machine gun is Russia's first proper belt-fed intermediate-caliber machine gun since the RPD. Firing 5.45x39mm from 100 rnd belt-boxes, the RPL-20 is built "upside-down." This means a low bore axis, which is good for reducing recoil, and the lack of a conventional top cover for manipulating the ammo belt. Instead, if you have issues pulling the feed tab through the mechanism, the entire pistol grip and lower assembly hinges downwards! You can't do this in H3 though. Because I hate you, reader, personally. :middlefinger:
