In order for ModularWorkshop mods to function, all of their assets need to be loaded in during game startup! This is very demanding and leads to very long launch times and high RAM usage for the entire play session.
This mod fixes that by making modular parts load on-demand as you spawn guns! For this to work, a cache needs to be built the first time you launch the game (this means you won't see the launch speed improvement until the 2nd launch). This cache will be updated automatically as you install or update your mods.
Beware that spawning a gun from a large pack can take a while the first time, since well, the assets are no longer preloaded during game startup.
IF YOU ARE ON LINUX: Please check the config file after launching the game! There is a compatibility option for you in case stuff breaks.
IF YOU FIND THIS MOD BREAKS SOMETHING: First, try enabling the "Disable async loading" config option as a temporary fix. Second, make a bug report in the H3VR Homebrew discord server and ping me (@Sirdoggy)!
The mod was tested by me in sandbox, T&H, and Supply Raid with several modul guns installed. While I haven't ran into any issues, I can't guarantee that it won't break anything!
