A prototype weapon that was meant to be the Australia's entry into the OICW programme. The weapon mated from the Austeyr and the Metal Storm grenade launcher platform, creating the overbarrel grenade launcher and an assault rifle combination.
The weapon is meant to work all within a single fire control group, with the ability to swap between the rifle and grenade launcher with a flick of a fire selector switch.
The grenade launcher component takes 40mm grenade (It was meant to take its own properity superposed loaded grenade but 40mm would be more fun here) and the idea was to fire the grenade quasi-caseless style. It takes up to three shells within the same tube, increasing the firepower of a single infantryman by plentyfold.
The Austeyr portion is a shortened and slightly lightened version to accomodate for the overbarrel launcher component. It features standard handling of the AUG.
It has a picatinny rail at the top, with two hidden one on each side of the tube for mounting lasers and such. The foregrip can be flip up or down, hover your controller near the very top of the grip, the grip should then light up to let you know it's grabable.
Takes standard vanilla Steyr AUG 3 magazines.
Model from Akinaro; with support from Tweedy and Zonk!
