Mark 4 Mod 0 Rifle

When the AR so good that the SOG needs it modified for their task. The Mk 4 Mod 0 is a variant of the M16 rifle that was modified for the true SOG, the Navy Seals needed a rifle that can be used near waters and stealthfully. The rifles had a corrosion resistant coating inside and out, in addition to O rings in the buffer tube and drain holes in the weapon to let the water drain.

The Mk 4 Mod 0 was fitted and tuned with a suppressor and even had a modified charging handle to reduce the gas leakage when fired, akin to a modern “gas buster” type charging handle.

A lot of the info I gathered was from a few nice folks in the Reddit-sphere.

Functionally it's an M16A1 fitted with the suppressor, but it's good to have a standalone weapon for those who doesn't want to have a big ol' ModulAR pack.
