Mauser 06-08 Pistol

The Mauser 06-08 was an experimental German semi-automatic pistol developed by Mauser around 1908 as a potential successor to the C96. It retained a few similitarities to the C96 but ultimately uses a different system, featuring its unusual flapper locked system.

Only about less than a hundred was produced and the pistol didn't get anywhere. The ammunition that was made for it however, continued a little bit further, considering better ballistic penetration wise compare to other contemprary round, thus the recoil can be a bit high here. The system didn't die as Mauser continued to work on different works using the same flapper locked system.

The pistol here features exactly the same interesting functions, namely when a magazine is loaded, it locks the slide back forward. It has a simple thumb style safety. The slide locks on empty and in order to close the slide, poke between the empty chamber to release the lock, it's unusual and definitely serves more than Garand thumb style injury.

It has also has 6, 10 and 20 round capacity magazine; Alongside with a tacticool version of the pistol in carbine form, full auto with slower rate of fire and a suppressor to go alongside with it.
