ModulXM8 Redux
XM-8 but Modular platformModul XM-8 Redux
The XM8 was an experimental 5.56×45mm assault rifle developed by Heckler & Koch and Alliant Techsystems for the U.S. Army as a potential replacement for the M16/M4 family. It evolved from the failed OICW program where its components were scrapped and reworked into its individual platform. Built with modularity in mind, it features many components that made it a true modular platform that can be easily changed to fit any operational needs, it can be a carbine, assault rifle, marksman rifle, etc.
The program was cancelled in the end but due to its amazing robust fishiness look, the futuristic rifle can be seen in many games, such as in GRAW, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Bad Company series.
There are a number of things that can be modular such as:
- Stocks
- Handguards
- Carry Handle
- Barrels
There are also 3 prebuilds, namely the standard assault rifle configuration, CQB and LMG. Each can be found in Assault Rifle, SMG and Machinegun category
Features
- XM-8 now in modular platform format!
- Many variants of parts to build your very own fishy gun
- Magazines are shared through G36 Extras, with many attachments can be found separately there.
- Can be found in Firearm > Assault Rifle, SMG and MachineGun
Note
- The AG-36 Handguard is just an empty attachment mount, to use it, spawn the AG36 and mount it like a normal underbarrel
- For the scopes and sights, because it has integrated lasers, etc, the bottom part controls the UI other than the dials and the top part controls the attachment/scope components.
- In order to have full control of the reticle brightness, switch to Programming or P.
