The Type 79 Rocket Launcher is a compact Chinese disposable anti-tank weapon developed during the 1970s in response to the more general threat of armour around the period. Extremely small and lightweight, it fires a 70 mm rocket capable of defeating the side and rear armor of contemporary tanks while remaining easy for anyone to carry and fire.
The weapon was shelved later on for being weak, inaccurate and just downright unreliable.
