WFBern Weize Series
Experimental Swiss assault rifleW+F Bern WEIZE Series
The WEIZE series was a family of experimental Swiss assault rifles developed by Waffenfabrik Bern during late 70s as means to replace its aging STG 57. The design is fairly straight forward, using rotating bolt locking system and mixture of plastic and stamped steel. This is also the time where the experimental 6.45x48mm XPL ammo comes by, a middle ground between 5.56mm and 7.62mm NATO.
There are 4 different configurations, with standard rifle length, the E22 and C42 comes with longer barrel and bipod, while the "MP" series is the E21 and C41, with just shorter barrel and no bipod.
